White, on the other hand, was never fond of this arrangement and has criticized the media panel for their decision. Recently, during an Instagram live, White got annoyed by fight fans commenting about his obsession with Jones. As a result, he snapped and ended the session.

Jon Jones is #3 in the P4P rankings right below Alex Pereira and Islam Makhachev. Jones is often regarded as the GOAT of MMA and has a decorated resume to back his credentials. In the last four years, Jones has fought only once with his competitors fighting 8-9 fights. However, Jones should remain at number one fighter as long as he’s active, which White wants fans to understand
According to White, Jones is an active fighter and was scheduled to fight at UFC 295 but the fight was scrapped due to injury. Jones will fight Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 and fans believe White just wants to promote his fighter. White is well known for pushing a biased narrative to highlight his fighters and this time fans are not having it.

However, both White and Jones have repeatedly mentioned that the Miocic fight is the right move.

As expected fans doubled down the trolling on Dana White for his repeated ‘glazing’ of Jon Jones. Many fans believe this whole saga is just hilarious and others roasted White for his unfair biases. As UFC 309 gets closer fans predict this is just a trailer of what’s coming. However, a dominating win at UFC 309 will bring vindication to White’s claim.
