Kevin Hart is widely regarded as one of the funniest men in Hollywood. His ability to crack anyone up in a jiffy has led many to have stomach aches from laughing at his jokes. He has some of his favorites in the sporting world, such as Stephen A. Smith.

The actor and comedian was a guest on First Take to talk about the upcoming NFL season and his favorite Philadelphia Eagles. As host Molly Qerim introduced him, Hart passed snarky remarks at the start of his appearance on First Take.

How are you Molly, I’ll say Hi to you nicely. I’m sorry, I apologize to you Molly. I don’t apologize to him (pointing to Stephen A. Smith). He can wait.

To this, Smith tried to get back at Hart in his own way. He pointed out the shades and asked why Hart wore them in the morning. When you come at the King, you better not miss. Smith should have known not to go head-to-head with a comedian. Soon, Kevin Hart had a brilliant comeback line.

It’s called long night, why don’t you get off my a** man? Let me live my life. What’s your issue? I don’t ask you about your mustache or your hairline in the morning.

This last part sent both Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim in splits. They could not hold themselves back after hearing such a joke about Smith’s receding hairline. That joke would have no comebacks, considering the ESPN analyst is 56 years old, and his hairline clearly shows that. He recently went through a body transformation to trim down his weight after struggling with health scares.

Qerim, on the other hand, loves it when her co-host gets called out. The two have often taken shots at each other while live on First Take. So, when an outsider does that, she loves it even more. In fact, that conversation led to talking about doing a roast of Stephen A. Smith.

Molly Qerim asked Hart if he would like to host the roast of Stephen A. Smith. The Roast sessions have become popular since Netflix recently collaborated with Tom Brady. Considering their friendship, the comedian remained optimistic about the opportunity.

Would I host it? If you think I said f*** Tom Brady enough, wait till you hear what I say about Stephen A. Smith. By the way, the timeline of this live event would have to match the expanding space in his hairline. You know how long that would be? We gotta go 4 hours.

In those lines, too, Kevin Hart did not stop himself from roasting the ESPN analyst. It goes to show that if a roast did happen, Hart would have a field day. The comedian last hosted the roast of NFL great Tom Brady. Since that event, many have asked if Stephen A. Smith would be willing to do one such show. Evidently, he does not have a problem with being a part of such a show.

Apparently, his family members would not want it. As such, it remains uncertain for now. In the event, they do leave their objections behind, expect the likes of Hart and Smith’s ESPN colleagues Shannon Sharpe and Qerim to leave it all out on the table.
