The long-running feud between Machine Gun Kelly and former UFC champion Sean Strickland is back on track. Fans are clearly invested in it since both people rely on social media to attack each other verbally.ย However, the UFC bantamweight champion Sean OโMalley has offered some wise counsel for MGK moving ahead.
During his podcast withย Logan Paul, Kellyย recentlyย went on a rant on Sean Strickland, calling him out for his previous insults. In retaliation, Strickland took to X and mentioned that he doesnโt need a lecture from a โweirdoโ who drinks blood. OโMalley reviewed the whole situation in his latest podcast and warned MGK to be careful regarding Strickland.ย
You gotta be careful who you talk sh** to. Even me as a fighter. I don’t wanna get f**** locked in a room with Sean Strickland.

The dispute between Strickland and MGK goes way back to their physical interaction at a Power Slap event. Later, Strickland mocked the rapper for his style, behavior, and relationship with Megan Fox. This went to a point where Fox had to DM Strickland and ask the fighter to stop commenting on her kids.ย
Machine Gun Kelly has a history of running up against UFC fighters. The controversial artist even had an altercation with former double champion Conor McGregor at 2021 MTV Video Music. Speaking of the latest Strickland vs. Kelly beef, OโMalley felt the rapper should not tease a mentally unstable Strickland.ย
Sean OโMalley talks about Sean Stricklandโs mental health
Sean Strickland is one of the most controversial fighters on the UFC roster. The American middleweight is unapologetic and says whatever he feels, regardless of the consequences. While fans love this approach, the middleweight fighter frequently puts himself in a position of vulnerability.ย
Strickland himself has publicly stated his battle with mental health issues and how he shares his thoughts with his fans. Sean OโMalley, in one of his podcasts, discussed Stricklandโs situation. He speculated that participating in frequent sparring sessions could explain Stricklandโs current outbursts.ย
Anyone that says that they literally have a [desire] to kill people probably arenโt doing mentally wellโฆHeโs honest about it, which is f****** pretty crazy. Just going in there and sparring and getting hit in the head โ not that he gets hit that much, but if youโre getting hit not that much, but you spar every day, that adds up

โSugaโ has had first-hand experience dealing with Stricklandโs trash-talking. โTarzanโ started mocking OโMalley during the UFC 2024 seasonal press conference. Suga didnโt hold back and made fun of Stricklandโs childhood trauma, and Strickland went on a rant about OโMalleyโs past. Nevertheless, it was definitely entertaining for a lot of fight fans.ย
