The popular boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya’s recent antics have even reached the UFC. Recently, UFC CEO Dana White came across the boxing promoter and his partner’s wild videos. The reactions from the UFC CEO were quite neutral and he did not want to comment much on those.
Oscar De La Hoya and his partner Holly Sonders recently posted a video of them dancing together. However, it was the attire that caught everyone’s attention and it eventually went viral. Like everyone else, the UFC head honcho also watched that clip. In the recent Dana White Contender Series presser, the reporter panel brought up a question about the viral video. White did not hold his emotions back and gave a brief reaction to that.
Unfortunately, yes, I did see those and a new one came out today. Wow… He definitely did that, raised awareness.

Recently, in one such instance, De La Hoya made a mockery of the UFC CEO. The Golden Boy boss slammed White because of a past incident where he slapped his wife publicly on New Year’s Eve. However, the root cause of their feud is still unknown. Interestingly, there are several speculations that De La Hoya’s deliberate move to enter the MMA promotion world might be one of the reasons.
Both Oscar De La Hoya and Dana White are the stand-out personalities of their respective communities. Even though there have been several collaborations between MMA and boxing in the past, these have always avoided each other. Interestingly, once the Golden Boy tried to enter into MMA promotions. As such, he even arranged the trilogy fight between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.
Following that fight, De La Hoya made several negative remarks about UFC. When the UFC bossman came across those, he was fumed. As such, Dana White went on an interview with ESPN MMA and made some strong cases against De La Hoya.

The crux of the entire story was that White did not like it when De La Hoya started talking trash about UFC. In response to that, he blasted over the Golden Boy boss. Since then, the rivalry between both of them had only ignited. Now, it remains to be seen when will these two put an end to their feud.
