During the discussion with Mike Bohn, Topuria was asked about which fight could produce a potential title contender among the upcoming featherweight bouts. The contenders in question were from Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes fight at UFC Noche along with Movsar Evloev and Aljamain Sterling following at UFC 307
Of course, Brian Ortega and Diego Lopes… If he [Diego Lopes] wins, maybe he’s the next one in the line.

Lopes acknowledged that while a win might not immediately secure him a title fight, it would put his name in the mix for sure.
