This time it was when his newly launched YouTube channel became the fastest channel in history to reach 50 million subscribers. The record has left a lot of people shaking their heads, except one YouTuber who suggested that LeBron James could do better.
YouTuber Adin Ross was on a live stream when he was talking to those connected. When someone from the live audience talked about Cristiano Ronaldo‘s record, Ross had a few things to say.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a social media giant with 637 million followers on Instagram and close to 113 million followers on X. LeBron James’ numbers are roughly one-fourth on Instagram and less than half on X. That should give an idea about the popularity of the soccer great.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar did start a YouTube channel with his new head coach. But that struggled to get a million subscribers for as long as it was active, which is why he has shifted his focus back on enjoying life and hyping others who deserve some attention.
LeBron James hypes up WNBA legend on jersey retirement
Ever since he completed his 21st NBA season, LeBron James has been active on social media. A couple of days back he did the latter when WNBA legend Maya Moore had her jersey retired to the rafters. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar took to his X account and retweeted the post celebrating the event.

This was him giving props to one of the greatest to play in the WNBA. He knows people generally do not follow the sport. So, he does whatever he can to bring them into the limelight.
A great gesture when considering that most of the new wave of WNBA fans don’t even know the greatness of Maya Moore. Nor do they bother watching other stars play incredible basketball. Talking about them to his 53 million followers helps to bring them some coverage.
He knows how hard it is to grow a strong presence and build their respective brands. If he can help kickstart anything, that itself is great. Not that he is doing it knowingly. But by shining the light on those who deserve it, he is indirectly helping them grow.
