However, the Irishman stays active on his social media handles. Recently, Conor McGregor posted a training video with a cryptic message that has left everyone wondering what it is about.
There can be several speculations that can be made after seeing that post. UFC CEO Dana White not announcing his fight against Michael Chandler might be one. In the context of the McGregor vs. Chandler saga, White recently acknowledged the Irishman’s wish to fight in December. As of now, the UFC CEO hasn’t come up with the announcement yet, and Conor McGregor posted a cryptic message.

Interestingly this is not the first time the Notorious seemed displeased with the UFC bossman. In one such instance, when Conor McGregor was ready to make his return in early 2024, White constantly pushed his return back. Even former UFC star Nate Diaz came into McGregor’s support in that matter. Not only that, the Stockton native also asked UFC to release the Irishman from his obligations with the promotion.
Although he was set to fight Chandler at UFC 303, he had to withdraw due to an injury. This last-minute withdrawal might have affected the event, but Alex Pereira stepped in and saved the fight card. Interestingly, this could be why Dana White is taking his time to announce McGregor’s next fight. It’s possible that the UFC CEO wants McGregor to fully recover before confirming his next bout.
