Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen sparked intense drama as they engaged in a heated altercation. Both UFC middleweight fighters added an unexpected twist to the event.
The PFL event took place Friday at Hard Rock Live, which is located within the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Following the event, the bad blood between the UFC middleweights boiled over. Ultimately, when they encountered each other on the casino floor, it resulted in a physical altercation in front of a group of spectators.
As reported by MMA Mania’s Alex Behunin, Vettori attempted to punch UFC light heavyweight, George ‘Tuco’ Tokkos but missed. Allen then intervened and hit the Italian fighter with a 1-2, which made him fall into a roulette table. Interestingly, afterward, Vettori shared a selfie video on his Instagram handle (@marvinvettori) displaying his undamaged face following the altercation. He also posted a quote stating, “One armed Vettori is unbeaten. Ain t never missing sh*t.”
Allen and Vettori have had several prior engagements. They were once set to battle at UFC Fight Night 240 in April, as well. However, Vettori had to pull out because of an injury. Allen ended up beating Chris Curtis, who filled in on short notice. After the match, Allen criticized Vettori, who had earlier criticized Allen’s performance. However, now coming to their recent altercation, even UFC CEO, Dana White couldn’t stop himself from reacting to it.

The internet has been abuzz with reports of a scuffle between Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori at a PFL event. Interestingly, the incident attracted a lot of attention.
However, when the CEO of the UFC came across the news, he couldn’t resist making disparaging comments on social media. Dana White took to his X handle and posted a cryptic comment mocking his rival MMA promotion PFL.

Interestingly, the fighters involved in the brawl are close in the UFC middleweight rankings. However, in comparison to their performances, Marvin Vettori had an on-and-off form lately. Whereas, Brendan Allen is rising through his ranks at UFC with a 7 fight-win streak. Allen has a next fight scheduled against Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Paris fight night. However, now it remains to be seen, will this rivalry be ever scheduled for an official fight at the UFC.
