Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic are expected to fight for the undisputed heavyweight title this November at UFC 309. The 41-year-old former champion might call it a day at the end of it all.
UFC CEO, Dana White recently sat down for an interview with Kevin Iole. During their discussion on Iole’s YouTube channel, Dana White addressed the highly anticipated heavyweight title clash of the year. In the very same conversation, the UFC head honcho revealed that the two-time UFC heavyweight champion will have his final title run this year.
Stipe 100 percent is going to retire after this fight.

But then, what happens after this fight? Interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall has been waiting around for ages. He is expected to face the winner of this bout. Dana White also announced the Brit to be the backup fighter for Jones vs. Miocic, in case the fight fell through for whatever reason.
