Shara Magomedov remained unbeaten when he outlasted Michal Oleksiejczuk in a Fight of the Night effort this weekend. The middleweight bout was for the UFC on ABC 7 feature co-mains at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. โShara Bulletโ is reveling in lofty callouts and even loftier aspirations after the scrap. His post-fight bonus is helping him realize those dreams.
Magomedov came out on top despite Michal Oleksiejczuk challenging all throughout three rounds. Magomedov ended the battle with a good visual and won via UD (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). He celebrated his win with a bizarre callout to MMA legend Nick Diaz. However, thatโs not where the brakes are at on his lofty aspirations.
Thanks to the UFCโฆThis is, uh, great. This is amazing news. I have a dream to buy a penthouse apartmentโฆon top of a building somewhere. So hopefully this is some money I can put away to make my dream come true.

Magomedovโs victory over Michal Oleksiejczuk has been overshadowed by his strange rhetoric and callout in his post-fight interview. That does not mean the Dagestani kickboxer is totally not worth the attention. Shara โBulletโ Magomedov earned $4000 in Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts. He also took home a $50k FOTN bonus and a lot more in perpetuity royalty payouts.
He, subsequently, might need the rest and view. Diaz could not make up the penultimate bill on the Abu Dhabi card due to travel issues. While it is unlikely that heโll answer Magomedovโs striker vs. striker callout, Diaz will bounce back from his 3-year sabbatical, possibly against another opponent. Ring rust does not slow down the pioneer gangster brothers. For now, though, such a billing is far off.
Shara Magomedov hype โBulletโ train put to the test against biggest names
Shara โBulletโ Magomedov took the sternest strike fest test to date at UFC on ABC 7 against Michal Oleksiejczuk. Last time out, the undefeated Dagestani fighter took on Antonio Trocoli in his first appearance in 2024. Afterward, he sent a feeler out to โbig nameโ Kevin Holland. However, Holland wants to scrap on domestic soil rather than the Middle East.
Magomedov (14-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) is just a few fights old. He wants to propel ahead as soon as he can with wins over big names. Diaz ended a six-year sabbatical when he rematchedย Robbie Lawlerย at the UFC 266 in 2021. Yet, on another three-year break, his return would be an unranked, legacy billing at best.
Dominant MMA Management CEO Ali Abdelaziz tells MMA insider Aaron Bronsteter that Magomedov is cleared to fight stateside. However, the fighter wants big names and tests to advance in the rankings. โBoogeymanโ Khamzat Chimaev is on the rumor mill to have similar problems. Despite having only fought at 185lbs a few times, โBorzโ poses a stylistic problem. Magomedov has stated how he thinks a fight between the two would go:
Even if I get taken down it doesnโt matter…because my elbows are gonna do the job that theyโre there to do so itโs not a big deal to be taken down, Iโm always going to be dangerous…and Iโm ready to defend takedowns but if I end up on my back I will do whatever I can to keep damaging him…

Chimaev will return atย UFC 308 from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 26. While thereโs no momentum between him and Magomedov, their stylistic outburst and striking would be a matchup for ages. However, it will have to wait as Chimaev will face Robert Whittaker in the co-main event. On the other hand, Magomedov does not have an opponent booked yet.
