Michael Jordan, the name alone is enough to make grown men want to leave what they are doing if they get a chance to take a picture with him. One of the greatest athletes of all time and certainly the GOAT of the NBA has an aura which is unmatched. Something that forces even greats in other sports to lean in and shake hands. One such incident happened when he ended up at the NFL Hall of Fame ceremony.

Former NFL superstar Dwight Freeney is a good friend of the 6-time NBA champion. Therefore, Jordan was invited as a guest for his induction into the Hall of Fame. But it was not Freeney who had to understand the aura of his legendary friend. Video from NFL‘s official X account shows Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning greeting Jordan before the ceremony. Even though he himself is a legend in the football world, he looked like the one giving respect to someone who has a different aura.

The same could be felt from other NFL legends who themselves are Hall of Famers. But Michael Jordan proved that he is an elite category by himself. There is a reason why security had to blanket Jordan as he walked away towards his seat after greeting Dwight Freeney.

If it was fans, someone could understand. But the security was keeping former greats of the game away from the Chicago Bulls legend. Who knew the NFL, one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world, with millions of fans, had their stars feeling weak in the knees seeing Michael Jordan?

Michael Jordan is having the time of his life since retiring

Ever since retiring, Michael Jordan has proved to the world how to live life king-size. His endorsement deal with Nike has enabled him to have more than enough money to invest in several businesses. One of them was the ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. He did not achieve success with the franchise. But when he sold it, his net worth shot up.

It was enough for him to vault into the multi-billionaire world. He was the first sports athlete to have a net worth of a billion. But the sale made him worth over 3 billion. Armed with all that money and Nike still paying him, he has been doing nothing else than travel, play golf and spend time with his family. On certain occasions, he makes it to such events.

Otherwise, the man knows to keep his life private and enjoy it at the same time. Many athletes want to emulate him. If not as a basketball player, but at least in the business world. With salaries in the NBA going north of $50 million a year, there might be more sporting billionaires soon. But none will be like Michael Jordan. Even those NFL superstars knew that.
