Stephen Curry is one of the top basketball stars in the Team USA squad at the Paris Olympics this year. Notwithstanding, he has established himself firmly as one of the best shooters in the NBA. His wide array of skills has also benefitted the team immensely whenever he is called upon.

Curryโ€™s inclusion in the American contingent currently competing at the world stage in France, signifies that coach Sam Kerr and the rest of the coaching crew believe in his abilities. Furthermore, alongside experienced Olympians such as LeBron James and Kevin Durant, they view the Golden State Warriors guard as a huge asset in their grand ambitions of securing Olympic glory.

However, despite his status as one of the top players in the team, Stephen Curry has not taken a moment to rest. A video making the rounds on social media shows the 36-year-old shooting incredible wild shots in training. The viral clip captures Curry dispatching three โ€˜top of the arcโ€™ long shots, to the amazement and subsequent applause of his teammates.

Curry could also be seen giving some dance moves in excitement as he succeeded with each long-range shot taken on the court, as team members paused their various activities to watch him.

Steph Curry experienced shooting woes against South Sudan

Shortly after Team USA kicked off their hunt for the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, they soon came face-to-face with a lowly-ranked South Sudan side. Before the Group C game at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium, many fans felt the South Sudanese were just pushovers and no match for the star-studded Americans. Indeed, the USA came out winners as predicted with a 103-86 scoreline.

But the final result showed it was a tightly contested game as Team South Sudan led Curry and Co, throughout the game before eventually succumbing to a defeat. Meanwhile, Curryโ€™s woes on the night against their opponents stole the headlines, leaving many fans to worry if the Warriors point guard is off his game.

Curry finished with an uncharacteristic low of just 3 points on 1-of-9 shooting from the field. His shooting which he is exceptional at, was equally disappointing from beyond the arc as Curry struggled for pretty much of the game to shoot the ball. He ended up recording 0 successful balls out of 6 attempted balls from deep in 21 minutes against South Sudan. However, fans finally found something to take delight in the end, when Stephen Curry assisted Jayson Tatum with a spectacular dunk.
