Sean Strickland speaks out against what he sees as Harley Davidsonโs support for the โwoke culture.โ Strickland is known for his outspoken views and unapologetic criticism of this culture. The 33-year-old American has announced his plan to protest by selling one of his Harley bikes. In doing so, he even washed out Harley Davidsonโs CEO, Jochen Zeitz.
The former UFC middleweight champion openly criticized Harley-Davidson after reports stating that the luxurious motorcycle company is โgoing woke.โ Furthermore, he encouraged fellow motorcycle enthusiasts to join him in this act of protest. Strickland wants them to stop supporting the company by not purchasing its products.
If you love America, you wonโt own a Harley. And let me explain to you guys why Iโm so upset and why you should be upset. The CEO of Harley is a woke zealot…. Why does this company have this fundamental German zealot that does nothing about America or its brand… This German that theyโve put in this company is an industry plant by this corrupt, sick, leftist, oligarch. To ruin, control, and manipulate Harley. If you love America, you will not own a Harley. And I am getting rid of this Harley as soon as possible…

Sean Strickland isnโt passionate about a lot of things, but one thing he will always side with is his country. The 33-year-old is a true American Patriot and isnโt a fan of what he cherishes getting โmanipulatedโ by outside sources. Strickland continued with his rant, pleading with the Americans to boycott the company. He further accused BlackRock and Vanguard, two major investment firms, of controlling Harley-Davidson.
This wasnโt the first time Strickland lashed out at Harley-Davidson following the allegations about the company. Last week, the motorcycle giant had Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll perform at their HD Homecoming concert. Strickland nearly fought with MGK a few months ago at a Power Slap event. He even blasted Harley Davidson for promoting the rapper.
Sean Strickland once met with a career-ending bike accident
โTarzanโ has often mentioned his love for the two-wheeled vehicle during interviews and press conferences. Strickland even has two exquisite motorbikes in his garage, which he often takes out for short rides. Interestingly, a few weeks ago, Strickland got injured while attempting a wheelie. It is just one of those incidents where he didnโt suffer a serious injury. However, in 2018, Strickland met with a potential career-ending accident.
The American was riding his motorcycle after a training session at Kingโs MMA and was struck by a vehicle. However, there were no further details on who hit Strickland. Following the accident, Strickland had to undergo knee surgery to repair some of the damage and was out for several months. However, he was adamant that this accident would not derail his fighting career.
Since then, Strickland has climbed the ranks in the UFC. He even became the middleweight champion. His recent victory over Paulo Costa marked a significant win following his loss of the middleweight belt to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297. As such, this win has put him back in the running for a potential title shot in the near future.
