Belal Muhammad shut down his haters at UFC 304 by beating Leon Edwards to become the new welterweight champion. With the victory, Muhammad became the first-ever Palestinian champion in the history of UFC. Many credited Muhammad for his incredible performances. However, Colby Covington wasn’t that impressed and has made some serious accusations.
Belal Muhammad looked impressive during the fight and outstruck Edwards throughout the rounds. He took down the defending champion of his will and dominated him everywhere. It was one of the best octagon performances from the fighter, and according to Covington, Muhammad was on PEDs.
He’s obviously on the right steroids right now, he’s doing the right cycles right now. He had a one night, lightning in a bottle type performance…he’s the supposed paper champ right now but no one cares.

Colby Covington previously failed to capture the welterweight title against Edwards and lost the fight at UFC 296. It was Covington’s third loss while trying to win the belt. Unlike the ‘Chaos,’ Muhammad achieved the feat in one try and made history. The fighter also received massive appreciation from UK fans as they blocked the roads in Manchester to celebrate Muhammad’s victory.

Covington dismissed Muhammad’s potential to hold on to the welterweight title and talked about potentially fighting him. According to the former title contender, he will beat ‘Remember The Name’ with ease if they ever cross paths. Nonetheless, when it comes to steroid accusations, Colby Covington isn’t the only one to question Belal Muhammad after UFC 304.

Muhammad has been training with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team for a long time now. The fighter has often talked about the intensity with which these Dagestani fighters train. This could be the reason for his incredible performance at UFC 304. Unless there is any certain proof, all these speculations are just theories.
