The UFC 304 main event came out as an upset for Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards and the English fans. In the fight where Belal Muhammad was considered the underdog, ‘Bully B’ came out victorious. There was a lot of hassle in the event. One of those happened when Daniel Cormier forgot the name of ‘Remember The Name.’
The event started with an awkward time schedule for the home crowd. The main event was over by around 6 in the morning. As the fight card proceeded, many intriguing moments came to the surface. From Muhammad Mokaev’s shorts-pulling act to Dana White not renewing Mokaev’s contract, the night had its moments. Interestingly, former UFC champion Daniel Cormier also made his way around the buzz.

The main event was set for the highly anticipated welterweight title clash between Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards. Muhammad dethroned Edwards and became the first Palestinian world champion. However, during the octagon interview, ‘DC’ and Bully B had a long chat about how the fight went. Interestingly, when Cormier was leaving the octagon, he mentioned Belal Muhammad as Leon Rocky Edwards. The new welterweight king didn’t make a big deal out of it and laughed it off with DC.
Interestingly, the fight between Bully B and Rocky was a rematch since their first fight was declared a no-contest due to an eye poke. Following that no-contest, Muhammad wanted an immediate rematch with the Brit. However, Edwards abruptly refused to fight Bully B, for which a lot of fighters slammed him. However, returning to the present, Belal Muhammad dominated in his rematch with Edwards. He also shared a few bits during his octagon interview.

Belal Muhammad has roots in Palestine. Although he was born and raised in the US, his parents were Palestinians. Bully B has always been vocal about his support for Palestine, which is suffering from Israeli militant attacks. Ahead of his fight at UFC 304, Muhammad shared a heartwarming about a kid who he rescued.
