"Mentally weak, drug addict, needs rehab" - Sean O'Malley unleashes on Conor McGregor for mocking steroid accusations

The relationship between Sean Oโ€™Malley and Conor McGregor has deteriorated significantly in the last few months. Once a fan, Oโ€™Malley is now publicly taking shots at the โ€˜Notoriousโ€™. While there are various reasons for this fallout, their recent dispute covers a rather sensitive topic.

During one of his latest podcasts, Sean Oโ€™Malley talked about the time he was found positive for Ostarine. According to โ€˜Sugaโ€™, Ostarine can be transferred through sweat as he didnโ€™t take the drug. However, this didnโ€™t sit well with McGregor who taunted Oโ€™Malleyโ€™s claims via X. In retaliation, the bantamweight champion ripped McGregor by questioning his legacy as a MMA fighter.ย

Conor isnโ€™t in anyone GOAT talk. Entertainment yes but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. Sh*t Cardio. Weak Jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict, needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still fan tho. Hope toe heals up

Oโ€™Malley pointed out that McGregor has lost four times in his last five bouts including the boxing bout and had a massive downfall. Oโ€™Malley revealed that irrespective of all that, heโ€™s still looking forward to his comeback and wished for his speedy recovery. It seems like Oโ€™Malley still has respect for the Irishman but doesnโ€™t look up to him anymore like earlier.ย

In May, McGregor went on a social media rant against boxer Ryan Garcia, who tested positive for Ostarine. Similarly, Oโ€™Malley was also ridiculed by McGregor for testing positive for the same substance in 2019. This was the beginning of the ongoing feud between Oโ€™Malley and McGregor which doesnโ€™t seem to be ending anytime soon.

Sean Oโ€™Malley will always remain a fan of Conor McGregor

After the rant, during a live stream, Conor McGregor tried to mend things with Sean Oโ€™Malley. McGregor mentioned that he was angry at Ryan Garcia and Oโ€™Malley got caught in the crossfire. The bantamweight champion mentioned that he talked privately with McGregor but that wasnโ€™t the case.

Oโ€™Malley has always been a huge fan of Conor McGregor. The fighter has followed the โ€˜Mystic Macโ€™ throughout his career and has taken inspiration from him. In an interview with MMA Fighting, Oโ€™Malley mentioned that irrespective of the feud, he will always remain a fan of McGregor.ย

Iโ€™ll forever be a massive Conor fan. The biggest fan, watched his career play out, watched every single interview possible. I learned a ton from him. Heโ€™s a legend. Thatโ€™s it. It is what it is

Oโ€™Malley mentioned that he wanted to hate McGregor but couldnโ€™t do it because of his immense appreciation for the Irishman. Nevertheless, Oโ€™Malley like every other fight fan is looking forward to McGregorโ€™s return. Although there has been no official announcement, the former double champion has revealed talking to Dana White about the fight.ย
