Joe Rogan finally hosted former UFC champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson. The two go way back to when Jackson was still fighting in the UFC. They even shared a brief stint of misunderstandings that were later settled. In fact, the UFC color commentator has even promised to get Jackson tickets to the only upcoming event at the Las Vegas Sphere. Here is what happened:

During their conversation, they talked about the highly hyped-up UFC 306 event coming up later this year. Soon, the UFC commentator asked Jackson if he would attend the event or not. The MMA legend revealed that he could not get hold of UFC tickets as the event would sell out in minutes. This was when Joe Rogan assured the former champion he had him covered.

Bro I got you. I got you for that. Let’s go Rampage, you gotta be there for that. The UFC doesn’t hook you up with tickets? That’s ridiculous, you’re a former champion. You should get tickets for the rest of your f****** life.

The upcoming high-budget UFC event, titled Riyadh Season Noche UFC, will take place this September at the Las Vegas Sphere. According to Joe Rogan, every former UFC champion should get tickets to UFC events. UFC CEO Dana White admitted that he had spent $17 million before September even arrived. As such, the event has all the promises of a must-see event.

Rogan said that if he were running the promotion, he would have given free tickets to former champions for life. Nevertheless, Rogan assured Rampage Jackson about the tickets for the Sphere event. Seeing the MMA legend on JRE was refreshing, as the duo had feuded for some time. Rogan only brought Rampage on the podcast for the first time this year, and the duo settled their beef.

The beef between Joe Rogan and Rampage Jackson happened around a decade back. It primarily stemmed from Rogan’s comments about Jackson’s fighting style and performance. As a UFC commentator, Joe Rogan was critical of Jackson’s fighting approach during broadcasts. However, this did not sit well with the former champion.

Jackson felt that Rogan’s comments were disrespectful and unwarranted. This led to a very public, though brief, tension between the two. Jackson even responded with some harsh comments of his own. He expressed how he felt that Rogan was not giving him the respect he deserved as a fighter. Moreover, the legend accused Rogan of showing favoritism to the grapplers.

However, the beef was eventually settled when the two had a face-to-face conversation. Rogan explained that his critiques were not personal remarks. The JRE host expressed his respect for Jackson as a fighter and clarified his intentions of not hurting his feelings. Jackson appreciated the explanation, and they cleared the air, ultimately putting the feud behind them.
