According to The Wall Street Journal, the 54-year maverick will speak at next week’s Republican National Convention (RNC). During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the UFC CEO weighed in on their 20-year relationship. However, he mentioned veering away from political grinds.
White mentioned the same in May in a podcast appearance. He said that his friendship with Donald Trump has transcended beyond politics. As such, his appearance at the Republican convention was a way to return the favor. This time, however, White got the honor of the last speech before Trump’s nomination acceptance in Milwaukee.
In 2016, White attended the RNC in Cleveland, and his speech was mostly about Trump’s character. He has always favored the Republican Nominee and vice versa. The concord between Trump and UFC fighters has also been one for ages over the years. As such, it remains to be seen what proficient spark White’s next speech brings in.
