Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett is known for his drastic weight cuts. The British UFC star rarely stays in shape after competing in the UFC. This time again, the massive weight gain tale has come to everyone’s notice. Not even a month has passed as Pimblett has bloated up again.

Paddy Pimblett recently graced the UFC octagon at UFC 304, where he faced Bobby Green. The fight ended in favor of the Brit as he choked out the American fighter in the first round. Interestingly, after that, Pimblett went back to rest and gained 40 pounds in less than two weeks.

The current #15 ranked UFC lightweight contender shared a video of his current fitness on his YouTube channel. In that video, he revealed that he was eating various food items. Paddy Pimblett even stated that he automatically puts on weight when he doesn’t train. Interestingly, it is not the first time that everyone has witnessed Pimblett gaining weight after a fight.

The Scouser even faced criticism from the community for such a drastic weight cut. Nonetheless, it has never impacted Pimblett in the fight as he is rising through the ranks of the UFC lightweight division. Following his victory at UFC 304, the Scouser has become far more ambitious. Pimblett even wished to take on Renato Moicano next during his UFC 304 octagon interview.

As for Moicano, he is set to face Benoit Saint-Denis at the main event of the UFC Paris fight card. Interestingly, Pimblett has also expressed his wish to take on the lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Later in the video given above, the Scouser reacts to Makhachev’s recent comment on him and vows to face the Dagestani at the top.

Islam Makhachev currently reigns as the UFC lightweight champion, with the most recent victory against Dustin Poirier at UFC 302. Interestingly, both Makhachev and Pimblett seem to dislike each other as both fighters often take verbal shots at each other.

Following his victory at UFC 304, Pimblett took a sly jibe at the lightweight king. Although Makhachev hasn’t replied to that yet, he talked about the Scouser in a recent interview session. The lightweight champion was asked about giving Pimblett a title opportunity, and Makhachev responded in kind.

When he deserve, why not? If he won couple next matches, when he’s gonna be in top 10, why not?

Makhachev also praised Pimblett’s submission victory over Green. However, there is still uncertainty about these two fighters going against each other as the Scouser is ranked fifteen in the division. On the other hand, Makhachev is adamant about moving to a higher-weight category. Now it remains to be seen what the future holds for both of them.
